I always imagined if I wore a sari it would be similar to this style ,Growing up as an Asian Bengali ,I never like the normal styled saris the Asians would wear , with over the top embroidery , I fact I Hate it ,there’s no style to it what so ever ! It just looked like a piece of long embroidery fabric to me ? But I love how the sari style has now changed ,its now very trendy & different !

I love it , if your going to wear a sari then make sure its like this one …I would love to wear this sari to a fancy event without looking typical!

I Knew it…. I knew it ! I’ve always thought to myself that there will be a new trend for wearing a dress over a trousers

& now it has it has arrived !…..

So, strip off those skinnies, tear off those leggings and get layering your fave dresses over trousers (I Think the Indian Trouser suit or Salwar Kameez silhouettes may have something to do with this new Trend …hmmm just maybe

Turn Arab Fashion into Vintage

Here’s a look that I did ,when I was invited for dinner party ,Turning Arab fashion into vintage ..how on earth do you do that ? ….well as a muslimah ..you all must know by now how a Muslim women has to dress ?well modestly without show any body parts,I love my religion without no doubt …but here the thing …… Muslim women in the west has not much to chose from (this why I want to design my own clothing line …where Muslim or non Muslim Women can wear …& no its not just going to be another boring clothing line oh no ….it will be  classy ..chic …with high-end styled garments at a affordable price…AnyhoOOo back to what I was saying ….oh yes that’s right….. As a young muslimah living in the west I know there’s nothing wonderful out there ,…  you know that  feeling you get when you want to be so different with your style …yet stay Islamic right ? …but there is the thing  …you can now !


 

Here’s how I do it …..

Some Abayas or Maxi dress can all be the same /or boring ..so by picking out a coloured blouse …with embellished skirt … from your local vintage shop can do you wonders

So try it out ! And don’t forgot to add a fur collar around the blouses….do it and see how glamazon classy diva you look .you’ll defo stand out from the crowd & and if you add gloves to the outfit …omg people will die

Who said you CANT wear heels in the winter ?.... Think again my friends .. You can now wear you're Fav Heels regardless of the weather just by adding socks to it :)....well just make sure Their just not any kind of pretty shoes … but Statement shoes of course .

I know…I know I know that some people don’t like the look of it …but am not one of them

Sock with shoes is a SUPER cool look, a way of staying trendy in the winter seasons ..yet staying so warmmMmMmm at the same time …(not all boots shoes are nice you know !)

    As much I love my “colourful printed Dare to were outfits ”… There’s something about this Marni Autumn/Winter 2013 collection that I like about ….although there’s less colours in it …yet I still love how its so smart yet sooo chic

The best thing about Winter is …that you can customize any outfit by just adding a simple fur collar or a fur gloves ….

My Old Celine Project For Winter 2012

I remember at University doing my project on Celine for winter 2012 Collection….&..Now looking back at it the actual Celine Collection for resort 1213...looks very similar …Am pretty much good at predicting Trends even if i say so myself......Hmm who know's I might end up designing for Celine one day ….well you never know?……[Yeah right only in my Dreams]…

My first post.. Here goes!

Don’t know what to write for my first post? Well now I‘m in a bit of an awkward boat, I feel under pressure? …. GOD some people are so good with these thing ,well I just hope that I get better in time J You know when your minds is bombarded with ideas, hence why I wanted to make a blog, now well my mind’s gone blank. And now I’ve also realised I’m blabbing on? Ok, ok so here’s a little about me ,well My name is Libby, I’m from the UK, I studied fashion at The University of Arts London,I love Fashion, I’m so fascinated about Fashion and everything around Fashion, (I’ve mentioned fashion 3 times in a sentence, come on surely that says something) I might start sounding like just another crazy fashion blogger who is out there, but that’s the truuuuuuuuuth! There’s so much to fashion ,the colours, pattern, Trend ,styles, arts, fabrics ..Cor! I could go on!

 

So many bloggers out there! Yeah, I know right. You’re thinking, “what’s so special about your blog then?” well excuse me. I have a lot to show you, ok? I’m certain I will be your favourite blogger, so please don’t speak too soon J Ok, now im sounding weird, and you want to close my blog, please don’t. Now ok ok on a serious note. A lot of people have complimented my style, There have been on many occasions where fashion photographers have stopped me to take a photo of me, also employers, and they all regularly mention “Do you have a blog of your own?” Surely this was a sign for me to get a blog.
